Work package 4: Scaling and dissemination




Objectives:To promote knowledge exchange on agroecological practices among older and younger generations and create livelihood alternatives for youth by combining agroecopreneurship with the use of innovative digital technologies. To spread knowledge among farmers about innovative technologies and digital solutions for sustainable intensification of fruit and vegetable production. To raise awareness of all stakeholders within value chains, including farming communities and academia, on agroecologically intensified fruit-vegetable agroforestry systems.Methods:Survey on current dissemination method and platform, farmer group meetings, knowledge documentation and exchange method; training in communication of farmer co-researchers and rural youth; digital seminars (‘gardinars’) organised as real-time excursions with community journalists and shared on digital agroecology platforms; role-playing (farmer theatre), science-practice interaction, development of other dissemination materials (policy briefs, fact sheets, technical leaflets, posters); international end-of-project hybrid conference.
